The Best Places to Take your RV Out this Spring!

Death Valley, CA/NV

Despite it's intimidating name, Death Valley National Park can be a great place to take the whole family for a spring break vacation! From it's historical ghost towns, to birdwatching and backpacking, there's never a dull moment in Death Valley! Look into  guided tours during your stay, especially if you plan on undertaking a lengthy or strenuous hike, because the park boasts 3 million acres worth of land to get lost in! With affordable campgrounds, sand dunes, multi-colored rock formations and knowledgable park rangers to guide your visit, Death Valley may be your perfect getaway this year!

Bryce Canyon, Utah

The peak Spring season for Bryce Canyon doesn't begin until April, so you still have plenty of time to start planning your trip. Bryce Canyon is known for its beautiful rock formations, clear and reaching visibility levels, and its dark, unpolluted night skies. This National Park offers astronomy programs, and houses telescopes for even better views of the stars. There are two camping grounds in the Bryce Canyon forests, which offer clean and hospitable amenities. Check out the National Park Service website (www.nps.gov) for more details on this breathtaking destination.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park

If you're looking for some of the most beautiful and diverse plantlife in the United States, look no further than the Great Smoky Mountains National Park! The park is home to 1,660 different species of flowering plants which bloom year-around, but culminate in massive wildflower fields during the Spring. Perhaps the best way to take in these beautiful surroundings is from behing your fishing pole, atop your bicycle, or even from a cozy picnick blanket nestled into a lush, green field. The breathtaking scenery and brisk Spring climate are sure to put the Great Smoky Mountains on the top of your destination list in the coming months!

A Word From the Founder of WholesaleWarranties.net

If anyone is looking to camp in Southern California, or more particularly San Diego, I would highly suggest checking into Campland by the Bay (www.Campland.com).  The park is centrally located on Mission bay in San Diego, CA, just a few minutes drive to Sea World, and only 10 minutes to the downtown area.  Some of the amenities include a Marina with boat, jet ski, water bike, catamaran, and slip rental.  The campground itself has 600 RV sites, 2 pools, 2 Jacuzzis, a basketball court, skateboard park, dog park, a concert stage, convenience store, laundry facility, a full arcade, a café, private beach, Wi-Fi and cable hook ups, along with a full calendar of scheduled events.  So if you are looking for a fun, lively place to camp in the San Diego area I would highly recommend Campland by the Bay. I plan on staying there until July 1st so come and visit me and the WholesaleWarranties Motorhome anytime so I can set you up with discounts and coupons to the area's attractions.  To see some pictures of our RV at the park visit our Facebook page!
